This year has been a difficult year for everyone. When there is a recession, no one is exempt. I was watching the local news here in Atlanta the other day, and a shocking story came on. The US Marine Corps foundation, “Toys for Tots,” is more than 600,000 toys short this year and this needs to be collected by Wednesday December 23. The numbers may not be as big in your neck of the woods, but Florida is experiencing a shortage as well.
After hearing the news, I headed to Walmart to get a few toys and games. I know that we are all struggling, but a $5 toy to a child that does not understand what a recession is would be a great help. I know that as a child, I never was shorted on Christmas and don’t want anyone to experience the same thing. Please log on here to find a location near you and donate something.
