When you live in Orlando you have a lot of things at your fingertips. The theme parks especially! Now that I’m older, Disney World has lost a bit of its luster and I’m more interested in Universal Studios Orlando. It’s the rides and the entertainment that has attracted me more. While Disney will always be a favorite of mine, I don’t know if I can visit the Tea Cups as often.

Being a Florida resident has some great advantages, what is it you might ask? Well the discounts to these lovely theme parks of course! At Universal Studios Orlando you can save about $45 on admission! I feel bad for people that don’t live in Florida cause we’re getting such a great deal!

This year I’m going to have to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! It opened recently and I cannot wait to see Hogsmeade and try out some of the rides. Currently the theme park only has three rides and while right now that isn’t so great I know in the future they’ll open more! There’s another advantage of being a resident of Florida, you can visit whenever you like!
