With the cooler weather we all tend to stay indoors more.  Why not make-over your apartment for the changing season and cozy it up?

Fall and Winter bring beautiful colors such as gold, orange, red, brown and green outdoors, which can also be used to accent the inside of your home.  Things such as a tall green vase with twigs as a centerpiece on the dining table, several framed pictures with new mattes to reflect the fall colors, or a red and gold bowl filled with pinecones or leaves on the coffee table, are just a few examples of inexpensive adjustments that can be made to your apartment’s décor.

For the cooler temperatures, layer blankets and throw pillows on the sofa and chair, place a fall-colored blanket at the end of your bed for those cold nights, and replace the bathroom towels with thicker, fall-inspired versions.  In addition, placing scented candles in every room, such as cinnamon, clove, pumpkin spice, or vanilla creates a welcoming, aromatic environment to come home to.
